Wanderess Retreats – Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all retreat experiences hosted by Wanderess Ltd (“the Host”). By booking a retreat through our website, you (“the Client”) agree to the following:
- Retreat Overview
- These terms cover all retreats listed on www.wanderess.co.uk.
- Full details of each individual retreat (including dates, venue, accommodation, inclusions, pricing, and facilitators) are available on the specific retreat’s page. These details form part of this agreement.
- What’s Included
Each retreat generally includes (unless otherwise stated on the booking page):
- Accommodation for the duration of the retreat
- Daily meals for the duration of the retreat
- Excursions
- Facilitated workshops, circles, movement or somatic practices
- A 6-month membership to the Wanderess Circle: online coaching and community support (non-scholarship bookings only).
Any extras such as transportation, transfers, insurance, additional meals, or excursions not specified are the responsibility of the Client.
- Payment & Cancellation Policy
- A non-refundable deposit (amount specified on booking page) is required to reserve your place.
- Remaining balances must be paid according to the timeline set out on the booking page or invoice.
- All payments are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you cancel, your payment may be credited toward other Wanderess offerings at our discretion, within 60 days of retreat start date.
- The Host may have to make changes to details both before and after the retreat has been confirmed and/or cancel the confirmed retreat. The Host will endeavour to avoid changes and cancellations but reserves the right to do so. If the Host must cancel, Client will be informed as soon as possible, and Host will reschedule for an agreed upon future date.
- Your Responsibility
By booking, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for your own health, wellbeing, safety, travel documentation, and participation.
- You will disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or allergies in advance.
- Consent & Media Release
By attending a retreat, you consent to:
- Entering a space where you may be photographed, filmed, or recorded in a respectful and discreet manner.
- Wanderess Ltd using this media for promotional, marketing, or community content.
- Liability Waiver
Wanderess Ltd and its facilitators are not liable for:
- Any injury, illness, accident, loss, or theft incurred during your travel or retreat experience.
- Any travel disruption, missed connections, weather events, natural disasters, or external forces beyond our control.
You participate at your own risk and it is your responsibility to have comprehensive travel insurance that includes health coverage and cancellation cover. Due to the nature of international travel and unpredictable global events, we require all clients to obtain travel insurance that includes trip cancellation, interruption, and medical coverage. Wanderess Ltd cannot be held responsible for travel-related disruptions or loss.
- Code of Conduct
All guests are expected to:
- Treat fellow participants and facilitators with respect, kindness, and confidentiality.
- Refrain from disruptive behaviour or misuse of substances.
- Honour the energy and sacred nature of our group space.
The Host reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate, without refund.
- Intellectual Property
All retreat materials, tools, recordings, and practices shared are the intellectual property of Wanderess Ltd and may not be copied, recorded, or reused without permission.
- Force Majeure
Wanderess Ltd is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, civil unrest, war, travel disruptions, or illness.
In such events:
- The Host is not obligated to issue a refund or reschedule the retreat.
- The Client is responsible for having valid travel insurance to cover such eventualities, including but not limited to trip cancellations, medical coverage, or transport disruptions.
By booking a retreat, you acknowledge that force majeure events are outside the Host’s control and accept the financial risk and responsibility for any associated losses.
- Disputes & Legal
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
- We aim to resolve all issues in good faith. Please contact us directly if you experience any difficulties or wish to make a complaint.
By booking and paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
